Services
Aurora Administrative Solutions, Ltd. has developed customized
administration systems for several large clients. These systems provide us
with the ability to handle full benefits administration for the employer.
We become the "benefits office" for the employer. Employees
contact Aurora for all benefits questions and service issues, including
address changes, enrollment, termination, status changes and assistance
with claim issues. Aurora distributes all forms and maintains all benefits
with the appropriate carriers. We have online capabilities with carriers
such as United Healthcare and CIGNA and 401k plan administrators such as
Fidelity Investments and Universal Pensions.
When a new employee is hired, the employer notifies Aurora and we handle
the employee's benefits enrollment and maintenance from that point forward.
This includes enrollment at the carrier, changes over the career of the
employee, intervention on behalf of the employee in the event of a claim
issue, and termination of coverage at the end of the employee's career with
the company, including COBRA notification and processing. We can track
payroll deductions for benefits and communicate those deductions to your
payroll vendor each pay period. If elected, the service can include
one-on-one enrollment meetings with employees at our offices or periodic
employee benefits enrolllment meetings at the employer's facility.
These administrative services contracts are highly customized to each
employer's specific needs. Our current contacts include full service for
health, dental, vision, life, disability, optional life and disability,
union dues, United Way, and 401k benefits, including payroll deduciton
maintenance and communication to the payroll vendor.
